About Us

Luv Pup was created out of the love we have for adopted rescue pups, and the appreciation for the rescuers who are out there saving the lives of so many dogs.

I adopted Brownie, my rescued Treeing Tennessee Brindle from a rescue in my area, Bring Home the Brindle, an organization focused on rescuing dogs from high kill shelters in the deep south, and placing them in their forever homes with loving families, here in the mid-Atlantic and around the country. Through the adoption process, I became friends with the rescue's director and gained insight into the selfless commitment required to run a rescue! In her words, it was her "expensive hobby". Though there are funds collected for adopting pups, they don't nearly cover the cost of running a dog rescue. 

The more I learned about rescues and the more my love grew for Brownie, the more I wanted to help in the effort of helping these helpless animals. Though I don't have the capacity, or knowledge to run a rescue of my own, Luv Pup is my way to give back and show appreciation to the rescue community. Through the sales on this website, Luv Pup will donate proceeds to dog rescues so they may survive and continue to pursue their mission of saving the lives of the pets we love!
